Waltham 1936 Mercury Head Watch

    The Waltham Watch Company, also known as the American Waltham Watch Co. and the American Watch Co., produced about 40 million watches, clocks, speedometers, compasses, time fuses, and other precision instruments between 1850 and 1960s. This is a 1936 Mercury Head Dime Women's Watch. It features a collectible coin in the center with gold enhancing the Mercury Man's head. Roman numeral numbers are seen around the clock face which is surrounded in gold. The strap is a textured faux alligator in brown. The back of the watch reads "Base Metal Bezel" and "Stainless Steel Back". As well as, "Limited Edtion 1 of 10,000".

    CONDITION: This watch is in great condition. There are no flaws to note. The watch face glass has no scratches. There is a small amount of wear to the strap. Needs a new battery to operate.
