We found a gorgeous vintage Oscar De La Renta velvet menswear-style mini dress, but the original collar was damaged (& also, not the flattering, sorry Oscar.) So, we removed the damaged collar and added a gorgeous & dramatic black-dyed raccoon fur collar (only the best for you, Oscar.) The final product can be worn as a formal mini dress, or open as a light weight coat. The body is velvet with faux pockets, and the sleeves are dreamy & loose chiffon. There are snaps that look like buttons and hook and eye closures up the front. We hope we've done Oscar proud <3



CONDITION:

This one of a kind ugraded Oscar De La Renta piece is in great vintage condition. This piece was destined for the landfill but we saw it's potential. There are no stains or discolorations in the piece. There are no snags or blemishes in the chiffon. Alterations have been sewn by hand for a secure hold.
 
OUR STANCE ON FUR:

Our motto is "If we're not wearing it, we're wasting it." We only purchase fur that is vintage or secondhand, therefore our purchases/sales are not supporting the current fur industry. We 100% do not support the farming & killing of animals for their coats. However, in the case of vintage & secondhand furs, the deed has already been done. We hate the idea of boycotting ALL fur because if we're not wearing it, the life has been wasted, and for no purpose. In fact, fur (& silk) is one of the most eco-friendly fabrics because it will eventually fully decompose once in a landfill, unlike synthetic fabrics (& synthetic fur) made from plastic. Long story short, we are simply saving & appreciating what is already in existence so that it is not being wasted. <3
