This project was conceived many years ago! We found this damages red velvet gown but we couldn't just leave it to rest. We wanted to make it two pieces to give it a more modern style and add some adjustability to the top. It originally had a bow in the front that made it feel too Christmas and childish. The brooch gives it a more universally formal feel. It's so lovely to see our ideas finally come to fruition <3

CONDITION:
This one of a kind set is in good vintage condition. There is one small repair on the front of the skirt near bottom hem, price reflects. Handwash and lay flat to dry to keep the silk velvet shiny and reduce damage.
